Position Description
We are seeking a Product Management / Product Owner professional with strong experience in the mortgage industry, particularly home financing and mortgage closing processes. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and credit risk partners to define and prioritize features that improve the customer mortgage journey while ensuring compliance and risk controls are met. Strong experience with Agile delivery and digital platforms is essential.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and credit risk partners to define and prioritize features that improve the home financing experience for customers, while ensuring compliance and risk controls are met.
Own and prioritize product backlog; deliver in Agile (sprint planning, stories, acceptance criteria)
Lead end-to-end mortgage closing experience optimization
Manage integrations with lenders, legal partners, and third-party systems (APIs, data flows)
Collaborate with business, tech, and external stakeholders to drive delivery in Agile environments
Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements
Improve customer and partner experience using data-driven insights
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
5+ years as Product Owner / Digital Product Manager
Strong home financing / mortgage domain experience, especially mortgage closing processes
Experience working with lenders, solicitors/notaries and mortgage ecosystem stakeholders
Proven track record with large B2B integrations
Strong Agile/Scrum expertise and stakeholder management skills
Solid understanding of APIs and digital platforms

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
