Prairie Co-op is hiring a Director of Finance on a full-time permanent basis. Are you an experienced finance leader looking for your next challenge? This position is an in-person opportunity ideally based out of our administration office in Melville, SK.

We are open to exploring hybrid options, and able to offer relocation support for the right candidate. Provide strategic leadership for Prairie Co-op's finance operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and IT. Work alongside an experienced leadership team to help shape business strategy, evaluate opportunities, and support ongoing growth.

Lead financial planning, forecasting, audits, tax reporting, and investment activities while ensuring sound financial stewardship. Analyze financial and market trends to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and support informed decision-making. Mentor and develop a talented finance team, strengthening capabilities and preparing future leaders for continued success.

You are looking for a career in finance and: Possess a CPA designation (considered an asset). Have over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with prior leadership experience. Are familiar with forecasting and budgeting, inventory control and asset management, internal and external audit for regulatory due diligence.
