Nation is hiring a Director of Communications and Engagement to oversee communications strategies and enhance the engagement function within the Corporate Services Division. This senior leadership position requires expertise in systems thinking, robust communication skills, and a commitment to the values of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People. You will be a key player in aligning staff, leadership, and community members with the Nation's mission and stories. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee communications and engagement strategies and operations
- Advise leadership on strategic communications




- Develop and implement engagement plans for initiatives
- Manage media relations and reputation management
- Improve systems for effective communication across the organization

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 8–10 years of communications experience
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
