Lead public affairs initiatives with Wellington Advocacy as the Director of Government Engagement in Ontario.

Your role will focus on strategic consulting, policy navigation, and stakeholder relationship management. As a vital member of the Ontario Practice, you will report to the Ontario Vice Presidents and act as a trusted advisor. This position requires an experienced qualified to guide clients through complex government interactions and devise effective advocacy strategies. Key Responsibilities:

- Independently coordinate business development strategies
- Advise clients on government relations and policy issues
- Write compelling briefing notes and client presentations
- Research diverse issues to uncover opportunities
- Foster strong relationships with key government officials Requirements:
- Degree in public relations, political studies, or similar
- At least 7 years’ experience in public affairs or government roles
- Strong network in political offices and ministries
- Deep understanding of Ontario's government processes
