Director of Operations

An innovative and rapidly growing agricultural technology company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations to lead all Canadian operations. Reporting to the General Manager, North America, you will oversee end-to-end operations across supply chain, production, warehousing, logistics, customer service, purchasing, and inventory management. This is a highly visible leadership role with full operational accountability and the opportunity to build scalable systems that support continued growth across Canada

What You'll

- Lead all Canadian operations, including supply chain, production, warehousing, logistics, purchasing, inventory, and customer service.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and profitabil ity.Own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process to align demand forecasting, production, inventory, and capacity plannng.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives while implementing KPIs to measure operational performance.Manage the operations budget and P&L;, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational excellence.




- Oversee supplier relationships, procurement strategies, and cross-border logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and future operational expansion.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leadership of multiple functional areas.
- Proven experience managing supply chain, manufacturing or production, logistics, warehousing, and customer operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience owning operational budgets and P&L; responsibilities.
- Experience implementing process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong ERP/WMS experience and advanced analytical skills.
- Experience within agriculture, horticulture, food production, biologics, life sciences, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational growth while remaining engaged in day-to-day operations.
