We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. As a seasoned leader in Procurement, third-party management, and enterprise transformation, you will support the modernization of third-party technology, processes, and operating practices to support CIBC’s business goals. As the Director, Procurement Strategy and Transformation, you will provide leadership across SaaS platform enablement for future state, process transformation, business consulting, information architecture, and project delivery.

Your mandate includes strengthening how third-party processes are enabled through technology, improving user experience, driving adoption, and ensuring scalable, controlled, and efficient ways of working across the enterprise. You will develop and sustain relationships across CIBC, influence stakeholders, and provide sophisticated analysis and recommendations to executives and business leaders. Team building and enablement are key responsibilities, as your team is expected to grow over the next few years.

You will be central to transforming third-party management through technology, data, workflow automation, and process discipline. This includes scaling advanced SaaS capabilities, integrating platforms with enterprise systems, improving intake and orchestration processes, and ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and risk management. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Leadership and transformation strategy - Motivate, coach, and develop your team to ensure high performance and growth. Lead transformation initiatives that align third-party technology, processes, and controls with enterprise business goals. Skilled in driving platform adoption, process redesign, migrations, upgrades, vendor engagement, and change management.

Ability to forecast, manage, and optimize technology investments while improving business outcomes. Process and operational excellence - Design, optimize, and support productive third-party processes across intake, workflow approvals, onboarding, monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting. Strong skills in defining SLAs, KPIs, controls, root cause analysis, user provisioning, and access management.

Communication, collaboration, and adoption - Translate complex technology and process concepts for business, risk, compliance, procurement, and technology audiences. Partner across IT, security, compliance, risk, legal, finance, and business teams to ensure third-party processes and platforms are aligned, practical, and adopted.

Experience developing training, communications, and enablement materials for end users and administrators. Continuous improvement - Stay current with SaaS, automation, AI, data, procurement, S2P, and third-party management trends. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce friction, strengthen controls, improve reporting, and increase the value delivered through third-party technology and enablement.

You are an experienced professional with 10–15+ years in SaaS platform administration, Procurement technology, or enterprise IT in global organizations. You have demonstrated success in leading platform operations, digital transformation, and technology adoption in highly regulated environments. You are a bold and accountable leader with strong people management skills.

You have experience developing and implementing strategic team goals, coaching employees, and driving successful team performance. We work to recognize you in meaningful, personalized ways including a competitive salary, incentive pay, banking benefits, a benefits program*, defined benefit pension plan*, an employee share purchase plan, a vacation offering, wellbeing support, and MomentMakers, our social, points-based recognition program.
