Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling food items safely.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by removing trash, sweeping floors, and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Follow established procedures for food handling and sanitation to uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the kitchen.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours.
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to equipment use and food safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices in a commercial setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers.
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools is advantageous.
