Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work surfaces, sinks, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen environment to uphold health regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels,
and cleaning agents to keep the dishwashing station fully equipped
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
