SIP Logistics is seeking an experienced and results-driven Dispatch Manager to lead our dispatch team and oversee daily freight operations across the United States.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. trucking operations, preferably with U.S.–Canada freight brokerage experience, along with expertise in load planning, broker negotiations, driver coordination, and dispatch team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the dispatch team
- Oversee load booking, route planning, and broker communication
- Negotiate competitive rates and improve fleet profitability
- Monitor shipments and resolve operational issues
- Reduce deadhead and improve RPM, fleet utilization, and driver productivity
- Track dispatcher performance and prepare operational reports
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records in the Transportation Management System
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trucking dispatch, freight brokerage, or logistics
- Previous dispatch leadership or management experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. freight markets, load boards, and rate negotiation
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems
