Enhance student support as a Continuing District Counsellor with the Inclusive Education Department in Hope, B.C. This role focuses on K-12 mental health services and collaboration with school and community. As a Continuing District Counsellor, you'll provide essential support for priority learners, especially in elementary settings.

Working flexibly, you will lead district initiatives, advocate for families, and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Indigenous communities. Your expertise will significantly impact district-level inclusive education practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver mental health services to students, both in-person and remote
- Collaborate with Inclusive Education staff and external agencies




- Lead initiatives in SOGI and Violence Threat Risk Assessment
- Assist educators in addressing student needs and safety planning
- Connect families to community resources Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counselling, with school focus
- Valid B.C.

Teaching

Certificate

- Expertise in Inclusive Education policies
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- History of working with external mental health agencies Support and shape the educational landscape for students and families through this vital role.
