About us

We're a growing dog daycare and boarding facility in Liberty Village. We recently opened and demand is growing quickly, so we're adding assistants to our team. You'll be paid and trained from your very first shift — no prior professional dog experience needed.

About the hours (honest version)

- Right now this is a part-time, on-demand role: the number of hours varies week to week based on how many dogs we have.
- Demand is growing steadily. We expect this role to reach regular full shifts (matching our manager schedule) within the next couple of months.
- Getting in now means you'll be trained and first in line as the hours grow.

What you'll do Everything in this role is about the dogs — no client calls, no sales, no front desk.

Day shifts:

- Supervise dog playgroups — keep play safe, calm, and fun
- Feeding, water, walks, and potty breaks on schedule
- Keep play areas and kennels clean and organized
- Calm, confident handling: you'll learn to set gentle but clear boundaries with the dogs so everyone stays relaxed and safe

Overnight shifts (optional, but highly valued):

- The easiest shift of all: the dogs are resting, and your job is simply to make sure they stay safe and at rest
- Evening settling-in, final potty breaks, periodic checks through the night, morning potty breaks
- Between checks, your time is genuinely your own — study, watch shows, read, rest

- Overnight coverage is needed almost every night, so assistants who take these shifts get the most hours. But overnights are never mandatory — day-only is completely fine.

What we're looking for
- Speaks Ukrainian or Russian (our team's working languages)
- Genuinely comfortable around dogs of all sizes
- Reliable and punctual — the dogs count on you
- Calm, attentive, and a quick learner — we provide full paid training
- For overnight shifts (if you opt in): comfortable being in office independently

Nice to have (not required)
- Any experience with dogs, pet care, or animal shelters
- Openness to overnight shifts (the fastest way to get more hours)
- Basic English (a plus, never required)

Pay details
- Day shifts: $17.60/hour
- Paid training starting from your first shift
- Hours grow with our demand — reliable assistants get priority as shifts open up

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Benefits

- Casual dress
- Flexible schedule

Application question(s):
- Do you speak Russian or Ukrainian fluently?
- Which shifts can you work? Morning 6:30 AM–1:30 PM / Afternoon 12:30–7:30 PM / Both.
- Can you work night shifts? (Optional)
- What is your approximate commute time to our location?
- Are you comfortable to be strict with dogs when required?
- How soon can you start?

Work Location: In person
