We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECE) at Level 1 or 2 for on-call positions to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development
- Support daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and positive environment
- Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding and support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and play areas
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform planning and parent communication
- Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations to ensure a secure workplace for children at all times
Requirements
- Valid certification as an Early Childhood Educator Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in computer operation and classroom management software
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic workplace
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Leadership qualities that foster a positive learning atmosphere
