Co-op (MCFC) is seeking an Ecological Forestry Coordinator to implement ecological forestry in Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for those passionate about forestry and conservation, focusing on community initiatives, research coordination, and operational planning. You will collaborate with local organizations and drive efforts for sustainable practices within a 15,000-hectare licensed area. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with research partners and collect ecological data
- Assist with forest inventory surveys and public communications




- Support the stewardship plan and community engagement efforts
- Develop and execute ecotourism projects and manage campground
- Represent MCFC at community events and outreach activities Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in forestry or natural resource management
- Minimum 3 years' experience in forestry or conservation
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with ArcMap Pro and Microsoft Teams
- Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver’s license Drive ecological forestry initiatives and enhance community engagement with your expertise in conservation and sustainability.
