Role Description The Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical Engineer role at QMTech Inspect is a temporary, in office position based in Quebec, Canada. In this role, the engineer will perform electrical and mechanical inspections, support failure analysis, and contribute to materials and component performance evaluations.





Daily responsibilities include designing and reviewing mechanical and electrical systems, preparing technical documentation and inspection reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

The engineer will also assist in the setup, testing, and validation of equipment and prototypes, provide input to research and development activities, and help optimize processes and designs for reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge of inspection standards, quality assurance practices, and safety regulations in industrial settings.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test results, and to write clear, structured reports.

Effective communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on-site.

This is a temporary role based on projects.
