Hello, I’m Anthony Chacon, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in engineering, manufacturing and industrial positions. I am currently recruiting for a manufacturing company specializing in technical solutions and automated systems. We are looking for an Electromechanical Technician with a strong interest in automation, instrumentation and control systems to support project development and provide technical expertise to customers.

Mission Reporting to the Project Development Director, you will play a key role in the assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated systems.

Key responsibilities include: Assemble and wire control panels including variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, protection devices and power components

- Read, interpret and update electrical drawings and schematics
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Install, calibrate and maintain industrial instrumentation and motor control equipment
- Participate in equipment commissioning and provide user training
- Perform preventive maintenance and service work on company equipment
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for technical support and after-sales service




- Respond to customer technical inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Your profile DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology or DEP in Electromechanics with relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation and motor control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components
- C License considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license
- Available for occasional travel throughout Quebec and, on rare occasions, elsewhere in Canada
- Functional bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken.
