As part of the growth of our R&D; team, we are looking for an EmbeddedSecurityResearcher to contribute to advanced technology projects involving embedded systems, wireless communications, and the analysis of hardware and software components.
What you'll do:
- C onduct vulnerability research and analysis on embedded systems and connected platforms;
- Perform reverse engineering activities on software, firmware, and communication protocols;
- Analyze, decode, and test wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi and BLE;
- Participate in the identification, reproduction, and validation of security flaws;
- Design and develop tools, scripts, or analysis methods to accelerate research activities;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand technical challenges and propose robust solutions;
- Document research findings, methods used, and technical recommendations.
Qualifications:
- M inimum of3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with5 to 7 years of experience;
- Experience in a role such as:
- Vulnerability Researcher
- Security-oriented Embedded Software Developer
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and their hardware and software architecture (ARM64, MIPS);
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication protocols;
- Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android);
- Knowledge of embedded Linux environments, firmware, and debugging tools;
- Experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Frida, etc.);
- Knowledge of computer security applied to embedded systems is a solid asset;
- Knowledge of cellular protocols (LTE, 5G) or software-defined radio systems (SDR) is an asset.
