Bridge, a leading Disability service provider in the Peel Region, seeks a full-time Employment Consultant/Job Developer to assist clients in achieving and maintaining employment. Your expertise in job search, career counseling, and employer outreach will be essential. You will work closely with management to negotiate placement incentives and provide ongoing support to clients through various challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of clients with disabilities
- Guide clients through resume preparation and interview practices
- Engage employers about accessible hiring practices
- Identify client accommodation needs effectively
- Maintain detailed client records and outcomes Requirements:
- Experience in employment services or related fields
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
