Be a catalyst for change in your community as a Local Chapter Coordinator with The Shoebox Project. This role encourages you to take the lead in supporting women and gender-diverse individuals facing homelessness. As a Local Chapter Coordinator, your mission will be to gather and distribute essential gifts through community engagement and volunteer recruitment.
You will set specific goals to address local needs, and your efforts will center on conducting seasonal drives and raising awareness about the struggles of those at-risk. Active involvement in your community is key to spreading positivity and support for this vulnerable group. Key Responsibilities:
- Define Chapter goals aligned with local shelter needs
- Lead the planning and execution of gift drives
- Raise awareness for The Shoebox Project’s mission
- Encourage community participation and donations
- Manage outreach efforts during critical gifting periods Requirements:
- Proven skills in leadership and project management
- Experience in community service or non-profit work
- Robust volunteer recruitment abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
