You are a great fit if you can…
- Conduct energy audits, assessments, and engineering studies across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities, with a stronger focus on industrial environments.
- Identify energy conservation measures and calculate savings using engineering principles, including thermodynamics, mechanics, fan laws, and energy-use analysis.
- Support Measurement & Verification activities, including data collection, analysis of energy consumption data, and reporting energy and demand savings.
- Prepare explicit technical reports and recommendations that explain energy-saving opportunities and expected impact.
- Support site visits for audits, studies, coaching,
and data logger installation or removal, working alongside qualified trades where required.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables.
Exciting candidates will have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Process).
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
- 5+ years of experience in energy management, energy engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience conducting energy audits, engineering studies, or energy conservation projects.
- Experience working with a variety of facility types, ideally including industrial sites.
- Ability to manage work independently with minimal supervision move quickly, and contribute with limited ramp-up time.
- Ability to travel nationwide (20%)
Preferred qualifications...
- Measurement & Verification certification, such as CMVP or equivalent.
- Experience with energy data logging, sub-metering, interval data, or metering equipment.
