Join the City of Thunder Bay as an Energy Project Analyst and champion sustainability initiatives. In this role, you'll coordinate energy projects and analyze utility performance to foster a greener future. This temporary analyst position will last approximately two years, where you'll support corporate energy conservation plans and interact with various stakeholders.
Your expertise will aid in achieving the City’s vision for sustainability through impactful energy management and conservation strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic energy management plans and initiatives
- Monitor utility performance for corporate sustainability
- Coordinate procurement and capital projects for energy transition
- Analyze environmental metrics to inform decision-making
- Engage stakeholders through educational initiatives Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in relevant field with experience
- Minimum five years in the energy or utilities sector
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid relationship-building capabilities
