Heavy Equipment Operators - Cold Lake Region Projects - 5/2 or 10/4 - Cold Lake, AB

Morgan Construction is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to support multiple heavy civil projects throughout the Cold Lake region. Operators will run graders, excavators, and dozers while performing earthmoving, road building, reclamation, lease construction, and mining-related work in a rotational, outdoor environment. Ideal candidates have several years of heavy equipment experience and are comfortable working in remote project settings.

What you’ll need

- Minimum 3 years of recent experience operating:160 Graders, or349 Excavators, orD6 Dozers
- Valid Driver’s License
- Surface Common Core
- CSO / BSO / CSTS-09 / OSSA Regional
- Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED




- H2S Alive
- Ground Disturbance (HEO)
- Valid safety training tickets
- CSA-approved 6“ lace-up safety boots
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts
- Ability to work rotational schedules
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to operate a two-way radio
- Ability to perform labour duties as required
- Successful alcohol and drug screening
- Successful Fitness-to-Work Assessment

- Experience in Hard Rock mining environments
- Experience in above-ground/surface mining
- Experience with overburden stripping, stockpiling, and reclamation
- Experience building roads, oilfield leases, and pads
