Heavy Equipment Operators - Kearl - 14/14 - Fly-in & Fly-out, Camp - Up to $58.16/hr - Fort McMurray, AB
North American Construction Group is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to operate large production excavators at the Kearl mine near Fort McMurray. Operators will perform production excavation, grading, safety inspections, and equipment checks while working a 14/14 FIFO schedule in a camp environment. Ideal candidates have experience operating 870-class excavators or larger in mining and are committed to safe, productive operations.

What you’ll need
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating 870-class excavators or larger
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Valid driver’s abstract
- CSO
- Wildlife Awareness (including Bear Awareness)
- Ability to excavate ditch slope and grade
- Ability to follow safe operating procedures
- English proficiency (verbal and written)
- Successful drug, alcohol, medical, vision, hearing, and fitness screening
