Role Description The International Trade Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Montreal, QC, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees international trading activities for marine HVAC and refrigeration products, including managing export processes, coordinating with global suppliers and clients, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating business terms, developing and maintaining international partnerships, preparing and reviewing trade documentation, and monitoring logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.





The role also involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, supporting pricing strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to align trade activities with overall sales and operational objectives.

Qualifications

Strong skills in International Trade, Trading, and Export management, with experience handling cross-border transactions.

Proficiency in Business Negotiation, including contract discussions, pricing, and terms with international partners.

Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders in multicultural settings.

Knowledge of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

Experience in marine, HVAC, or industrial equipment sectors is an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Proficiency with business productivity tools and ERP or trade management systems is beneficial.

Professional fluency in English; French language skills are a strong asset for the Quebec market.
