Seeking a skilled Painter for somr part time work which can eventually lead to Full time. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a robust understanding of construction and restoration processes. This role involves working on residential and commerciall projects, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. Looking for someone who has at least 1 year experience and wanting to learn the trade.
Hours will varie throughout the week from 15 - 30 hours
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
- Execute construction painting tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to enhance their appearance
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns
Requirements
