Extendicare invites applications for the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role to provide targeted nursing care for seniors. This part-time position involves clinical assessments and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. As an RPN, you will play a vital role in maintaining resident health through monitoring and adapting care plans based on individual needs.

You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance within your responsibilities, supporting a positive and secure environment for residents. Key Responsibilities:

- Complete clinical care assessments regularly and accurately
- Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness
- Provide direct care, administer medications, and ensure proper documentation




- Facilitate care conferences and resident transitions
- Respond to emergency situations, administering first aid when necessary Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Preferred experience in gerontology or complex care
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support is required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
