Role Description The Facilities Manager is a full-time role responsible for the day-to-day management and upkeep of Wine Academy’s multi-level club space in Toronto, ON. This hybrid position combines on-site oversight of building operations, maintenance, and safety with some work-from-home tasks such as planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities include supervising cleaning and maintenance activities, managing facility-related vendors and service providers, monitoring building systems and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

The Facilities

Manager will also coordinate repairs, oversee space setup for events, maintain inventory of supplies and equipment,



and implement preventative maintenance plans to preserve the club’s high-end atmosphere.

Qualifications

Experience in facilities management, building operations, or property management, ideally within hospitality or upscale member-focused environments.

Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventative maintenance practices, with the ability to coordinate repairs and improvements.

Strong skills in vendor management, contract coordination, and budgeting or cost control for facility-related services and supplies.

Ability to manage health, safety, and security procedures, including compliance with local regulations and best practices for member and staff wellbeing.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.

Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with members, staff, and external partners.

Proficiency with basic office software and facility management tools for tracking work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory.

Previous supervisory experience and a customer-service mindset oriented toward maintaining a high-standard, premium environment.

Post-secondary education or certification in facilities management, building operations, or a related field is an asset.
