Farmers Market Sales Representative
Love local food? Enjoy meeting people? Want to work outdoors instead of being stuck inside?
Join A Bread Affair, BC's first certified organic bakery, and spend your weekends at so me of Metro Vancouver's best farmers markets alongside local farmers and food producers.
We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and enjoys providing great customer service. This is a part-time position working three shifts per week (Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday or Thursday), with early morning starts.
What you'll do
- Set up and take down our market booth and products.
- Drive a company vehicle to and from assigned markets (Class 5 licence required).
- Welcome customers, offer samples, and share our products.
- Process sales using our POS system.
- Keep the booth organized, clean, and well stocked.
What we're looking for
- Friendly and outgoing.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (20 kg).
- Available Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesday or Thursday.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- FoodSafe is an asset.
