Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Watch short film and video clips and break them down into structured, beat-by-beat visual descriptions

Describe camera movement, framing, blocking, pacing, and mood in precise, consistent language

Convey tone and emotional subtext using purely visual indicators — no reliance on dialogue

Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce scene summaries and beat breakdowns

Maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of scene descriptions





Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form

Able to describe what you see clearly and systematically — without referencing what characters say

Solid structured writing skills with an eye for detail and consistency

Comfortable re-watching clips to ensure accuracy and completeness

Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

Experience writing shot lists, scene breakdowns, or production notes
