Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Commercial Finance Manager to join our team. This is a hands‑on role for a well‑rounded finance professional who can enhance operational excellence while delivering actionable insights to support business performance. Partnering closely with the Head of Finance and key stakeholders, you will help improve processes, strengthen reporting, and provide financial analysis that supports better commercial decision‑making. The role requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick‑paced environment.
What Your Impact Will Be
- Trade Spend Track budgets, lead forecasts, and develop dashboards for customer benefits
- Profitability Analysis Support decision‑making with promotional deal analysis, customer P&L; insights, mix/margin drivers and SKU analysis
- P&L; Analysis Analyze key drivers of Actual vs Forecast, including sales, margin and operating income
- Business Planning Lead the annual and quarterly forecasting, including alignment across functions
- Data management Responsible for creating a “Single Source of Truth” and improving management reporting
- Process Improvement Improve reporting and processes to deliver clearer, forward‑looking insights
- Working Capital Oversee AR function that is managed by shared service team to ensure timely payments, reduced aged AR and review AR reserves reconciliations
- Collaboration Develop a close working relationship with the key stakeholders and shared services function
- Team Leadership Manage performance and develop direct reports
- Compliance and Controls Maintain strong financial controls, ensure SOX compliance and liaison with internal and external auditors
- Business support Serves as a key point of contact to support the business on queries, new projects and problem resolutions
What We’re Looking For
- CPA with at least 8 years of commercial finance background
- Experience in CPG/toys/retail customer environments with trade spend
- Advanced Excel is a must and familiarity with Sales Force, Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Tableau, as added advantages
- 3+ years of people‑leading experience
- Highly analytical capability (modelling and variance analysis), able to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
- Experience with financial systems/reporting modernization and data governance mindset
- Adaptable, detail‑oriented with robust problem‑solving skills and high degree of initiative
- Collaborative with excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
