PURPOSE OF POSITION

Experienced Finance Analyst to support the Finance Manager across financial reporting, month-end closing, external audits, budgeting, and cash flow planning activities. The role requires a solid understanding of financial accounting principles, experience working with auditors, and the ability to coordinate information across multiple departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain month-end schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of management reporting packages and financial analyses.

2. External Audit Support

- Coordinate external audit requests and manage audit information gathering.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain required audit evidence.
- Serve as a key contact point for auditors during audit periods.

3. Financial Statements & Accounting Support

- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Support reporting requirements under both IFRS and local GAAP.
- Prepare supporting schedules and disclosures as required.

4. Cash Flow & Liquidity Planning

- Support short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting activities.
- Collect and analyze information from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and other departments.
- Prepare liquidity forecasts and monitoring reports.

5. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Support annual budget and periodic forecast processes.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of planning activities.

6. Finance Projects & Process Improvement





- Support finance transformation and compliance projects, including IFRS 18 implementation.
- Assist with internal finance initiatives such as Cost Optimization and Process Improvement projects.
- Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and presentations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3-7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit support, or corporate finance.
- Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit documentation.
- Exposure to annual financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
- Understanding of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Range: CAD50,000 - CAD95,000
