Financial Controller

Full time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Dental Choice is seeking an experienced Controller to join our growing organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Controller will lead a team of six accounting professionals and oversee all financial operations, including financial reporting, cash flow management, payroll, banking relationships, acquisitions, compliance, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the Accounting Team.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and financial analysis.
- Support clinic acquisitions, due diligence, and integrations.
- Monitor financial KPIs and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
- Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and automation.
- Manage relationships with banks, external accountants, vendors,



and joint venture partners.
- Participate in strategic planning and support the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, payroll, and budgeting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience is an asset, experience with acquisitions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.
