Overview

The Financial Controller oversees all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. This role leads a small accounting team while managing cash flow, credit, foreign exchange, and statutory reporting to support executive decision‑making and maintain the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage cash flow and oversee month‑end/year‑end closing
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and performance reports
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations
- Conduct credit analysis, monitor collections, and manage FX risk
- Ensure compliance with taxes, audits, payroll, and internal controls
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals




- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives

Qualifications

- CPA designation; Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 7–10 years in accounting/finance, including team leadership
- Experience in cash flow, credit, FX, and reporting (import/export/trading preferred)
- Advanced Excel; Microsoft Business Central and Power BI an asset
- Solid analytical, communication, and leadership skills
