Join Rockwell Automation as a Firmware Engineering intern, focusing on developing firmware for variable frequency drives. This full-time, in office, 12-month position is located in Cambridge, ON. As a co-op student, you will work closely with firmware development engineers to design and develop firmware, conduct product testing, and engage in coding using C/C++ or MATLAB/Simulink.

The hands-on experience will include supporting test setups and maintaining firmware metrics while gaining insights into innovative technologies and applications. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop firmware for VFDs
- Conduct product testing and certification
- Perform coding activities in C/C++ and/or MATLAB
- Maintain and develop testing setups
- Document firmware applications and components Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in relevant fields
- Legal ability to work in Canada
- Graduation in December 2027 or later
- Experience with C/C++ or MATLAB/Simulink
