Shift: Days and Afternoon shifts available

SUMMARY The 310T Truck Mechanic is responsible for truck and equipment repairs or service as required by the Leadhand, Foreman, or Shop Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Document all work completed, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.
- Fill out inspection sheets as required, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
- Track and log parts usage daily, ensuring proper inventory control and reporting any discrepancies.
- When instructed, perform road tests to verify the functionality and safety of repaired vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Assist senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials.




- All other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

- 310T Truck and Coach License. Proof of license will be required.
- Candidates must be willing to work safely and make safety a priority above all else adhere to safety policies and regulations and engage in best practice of safety initiatives.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and other software such as TMT.
- Aptitude for truck maintenance and repair.
- Positive attitude with proven people skills.
- Honest, diplomatic and trustworthy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Hourly based on 40 hours of work.
