Classification: Grid 18, BCGEU Membership
Office Location: Fort St John
Salary: $64,367.58 - $72,917.30 – Permanent Full time, based on a 35-hour work week.
An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.
An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
About the Job:
The Fleet & Safety Coordinator (Coordinator) is responsible for managing the safe and reliable operation of BCER’s corporate fleet, field equipment, and related operational assets. The role integrates fleet and asset management with occupational health and safety (OH&S;) coordination to support safe and effective field operations across the organization.
The Coordinator leads full lifecycle management of fleet assets, including planning, maintenance, replacement, and vendor coordination, while integrating safety requirements into operational practices.
The role also supports the delivery and continuous improvement of OH&S; programs through safety coordination activities such as risk assessments and drills, supporting incident response, maintaining safety documentation, and delivering training and guidance.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role promotes a culture of safety, operational readiness, and compliance, ensuring compliance with OH&S; legislation, corporate standards, and established program requirements, while supporting the BCER’s regulatory mandate and organizational priorities.
