Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face welcoming customers, preparing and serving food items efficiently, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Serve customers with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.




- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is highly desirable.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
- Knowledge of food industry best practices related to serving, food handling, and sanitation will set you up for success.
