Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Counter Attendant/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. You will handle food preparation, cashiering duties using Micros POS systems, and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Making bubble tea according to recipe and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to accurately process customer transactions, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders with enthusiasm, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor expiration dates to ensure safety and quality.
- Assist in food delivery from kitchen to counter or dining area while adhering to proper food handling procedures.




- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling practices aligned with food safety standards.
- Familiarity with cashiering systems such as Micros POS or similar point-of-sale technology.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Understanding of sanitation procedures and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales opportunities is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
