Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Manager to lead and oversee food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across our operations. The successful candidate will ensure all products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems in compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety policies, sanitation procedures, and quality requirements.

- Lead internal audits, inspections, and corrective action programs to maintain compliance and improve performance.

- Investigate food safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Train and support employees on food safety practices, GMP, HACCP, and company procedures.

- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.





- Prepare and maintain food safety documentation, audit records, and regulatory reports.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

- At least 5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, BRC, CFIA requirements, and other applicable food safety regulations.

- Experience conducting internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory inspections.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

- Qualified food safety or quality certifications are considered an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
