Position Description: Clark Builders is hiring a Foreman for projects in Kamloops, BC! The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area. Reporting to: Superintendent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures.
- Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions.
- Lead QA/QC checks and inspections.
- Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings.
- Draft and submit RFI’s.
- Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site.
- Other duties as required.
- Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner.
- Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Experience working under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model.
- The ability to read drawings,



plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others.
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
- Conflict resolution.
- The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season.

Qualifications:

- Journeyperson trade certification.
- Carpentry experience is preferred.
- 8+ years of construction experience.
- Valid first aid certificate an asset.
- Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.

Comments: Wage Range: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour. Local candidates only will be considered. Environmental aspects (weather, heights, etc.) play an important role for this position since work is often outdoors. *Please note this is a safety sensitive position.
