The MICs Foundation Coordinator plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations and continued success of the MICs Foundation. Reporting to the CEO of the MICs Group of Health Services, the Foundation Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating fundraising initiatives that generate revenue in support of the organization’s mission, programs, and services.
Key initiatives include, but are not limited to, the MICs Foundation 50/50, Radiothon, Baseball Tournament, and other fundraising events, campaigns, and community engagement activities. The Foundation Coordinator will also support donor and sponsor relations, promotional activities, event planning, administrative functions of the Foundation, and provide monthly updates to the Foundation Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized, motivated, independent, and community-minded individual who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, developing relationships, and working collaboratively with internal departments, community partners, donors, and sponsors.
- Must be a new entrant to the workforce, be transitioning to a new career, or be unemployed or underemployed and entering a new field
- Must not have previously participated in a NOHFC-funded internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must reside and be legally entitled to work in Canada
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the MICs Group of Health Services’ policies and procedures.
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $25.00
- Paid vacation and benefit coverage
- Eligibility to enroll in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
