Paires seeks a Founding AI Engineer to lead the agent layer of our AI fundraising platform. Oversee the conversational agents that enhance investor outreach and relationships, all in a fully remote model. In this critical role, you will own the development of our agent system, which facilitates warm outreach and nurtures investor relationships.

As a key player in a small, self-funded team, your responsibilities will include building and scaling the agent layer, matching engine, and backend infrastructure using Python and AWS technologies. Your work will directly impact product functionality and investor engagement. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop the agent layer to support outreach and conversations
- Build and enhance the matching engine for optimal pairing




- Manage the backend infrastructure with Python and PostgreSQL
- Oversee deployment to production and iterate on feedback
- Ensure robust evaluation systems to maintain quality Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in production software delivery
- Proven ability to build cohesive applications from scratch
- Experience with LLM systems and embedding technologies
- Solid skills in Python and system design
