Role Description The Front Desk Representative is a full-time, in office role based at Christie's Mill Inn & Spa in Port Severn, Canada. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and handling reservations and inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. Daily tasks include processing payments, providing information about resort services and local attractions, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and facilities meet guest expectations.

Representative also resolves guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintains accurate records,



and upholds a welcoming, organized front desk environment.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with experience in hospitality or a similar guest-facing environment.

Proficiency in receptionist duties and front desk operations, including check-in/check-out and handling reservations.

Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for managing calls, emails, and in-person interactions.

Ability to manage reservations and basic administrative tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking or property management systems is an asset.

Reliable, professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on collaboration.

Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or spa setting is an advantage; secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred.
