Role Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at Milya AI, you will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power our AI-driven dental solutions. This full-time, in office role in Montreal, QC involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to translate requirements into robust, scalable features. You will develop user interfaces, implement backend services and APIs, integrate AI components, and ensure secure, reliable data handling. On a typical day, you will write clean, testable code, review peers’ contributions, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system performance and reliability. You will also contribute to technical decisions,



participate in architectural discussions, and help refine development best practices as the product and engineering teams grow.

Qualifications

- Strong front-end engineering skills, including proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar), responsive UI development, and component-based architecture.
- Robust back-end development experience with a server-side language (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), RESTful or GraphQL API design, and integration with external services.
- Experience with databases and infrastructure, including relational or NoSQL databases, query optimization, basic cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD workflows.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, such as object-oriented or functional programming, testing (unit/integration), code review practices, and version control with Git.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, translate product requirements into technical solutions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with AI/ML-powered products, healthcare or dental technologies, security/privacy best practices, or real-time communication systems is an asset.
