The Addiction
Specialist plays a crucial role in the Substance Use Recovery and Shelter Services department. Your expertise will guide residents through their treatment journey, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure successful discharges while empowering individuals facing addiction. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver individual and group counselling sessions
- Coordinate care and facilitate discharge planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Promote sustained recovery and wellness for residents Requirements:
- Graduation from a related College Diploma or University Degree
- Minimum 1 year in a relevant role
