Eligibility
- Students who are eligible to pay tuition fees at the Home rate are eligible to apply
- Funding is not available to Overseas applicants unless they meet UK Home fee status requirements
- This funding is only available to candidates eligible for UK Home fee status
Requirements
- Applicants from backgrounds such as AI, computer vision, computer graphics,
machine learning, robotics, wearable technologies, textile engineering, fashion technology, digital fashion, or related areas are encouraged to apply
- Applicants should have a relevant background in areas such as computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning, robotics, wearable technologies, textile engineering, fashion technology, digital fashion, human body modelling, or a related discipline
The project topic is adaptable and will be developed jointly by the student and the supervisor, depending on the candidate's background and research interests. Possible directions include 3D body scanning and measurement, garment fit evaluation, cloth simulation, digital twins, wearable sensing, smart textiles, and AI methods for clothing and body data analysis, to name a few.
