We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Garage Door Technician / Installer (Lead Hand) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, trustworthy self-starter who thrives in a rapid-paced environment. You bring exceptional customer service, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead by example in the field.

A Day in the Life of a Commercial Lead Hand

Each day brings variety and challenge as you:

- Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors, openers, and barrier gates
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Lead by example—supporting and mentoring technicians while maintaining high quality and safety standards
- Perform daily duties safely and efficiently, including work at heights and physical tasks




- Conduct site assessments and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Participate in an emergency service rotation as required
- Deliver excellent customer service on every call

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience as an Overhead Door Technician
- Comfort and experience with electrical work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform duties without physical limitations
- Experience with electric openers and barrier gates
- Safe driver’s abstract and clean criminal record
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail in documentation
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work on an emergency rotation
- Commitment to teamwork, learning, and customer satisfaction
