At Clayton Hills, we're more than just a golf course, we're a place where people come to have fun, learn the game, and make great memories.

Our facility features a fun and welcoming 9-hole par 3 course along with our signature Backyard Practice Area, a 17,000-square-foot turf practice facility designed for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Complete with three practice bunkers, four driving nets, cornhole, a spacious patio, comfortable lounge seating, and a fully fenced layout, it's the perfect place to hit balls, relax with friends and family, enjoy great food and drinks, and spend time outdoors.

Since opening the Backyard in Spring 2025, Clayton Hills has quickly become one of Surrey and Langley's favourite golf destinations for beginners, juniors, families, and anyone looking for a relaxed, approachable golf experience. Position Summary

At Clayton Hills Golf Course, our Grounds Crew plays a key role in creating an exceptional experience for every golfer. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, and like being part of a hardworking team, this could be the perfect job for you.

As a member of our Grounds Crew,



you'll help keep our 9-hole golf course and Backyard Practice Area in outstanding condition. From preparing the course each morning to maintaining greens, fairways, bunkers, and landscaped areas, your work helps ensure every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. No two days are the same, and every day is spent outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

- Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and practice areas.
- Repair ball marks, divots, and worn turf areas.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment and machinery.
- Trim grass, edges, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
- Assist with irrigation repairs and hand watering as needed.
- Keep the course, pathways, and practice areas clean and free of debris.
- Help with seasonal projects including aeration, topdressing, overseeding, and course improvements.
- Monitor course conditions and report maintenance issues.
- Provide friendly and skilled interactions with golfers when needed.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while taking pride in the appearance of the course.

What We're Looking For

- Must be availableto work Monday through Friday,



with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
- Typical working hours are 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to arrive on time for early morning shifts.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, walking, bending, and operating equipment.
- Previous landscaping or golf course maintenance experience is an asset, but not required, we're happy to train the right person.
