The Guideway Construction Co-op will support the the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) of The Ontario Line ("OL"). The Primary Construction Team for this project consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP)"
The Guideway Construction Co-op will support the Guideway Construction team by preparing project documentation, supporting the tracking of progress of the work, assisting with meetings, and providing administrative assistance. This role requires strong communication skills, proactivity, problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing project documentation for the Guideway Construction team.
- Collaborate with construction Project Coordinators and Managers to track project progress (status of submittals, cost/invoicing and schedule inputs).
- Support on meetings management, taking the notes for minutes, and following up all items ensuring all of them being addressed and closed in timely manner.
- Supports assembly and reviews of quality documentation and records produced by Subcontractors, for submission purposes to the EoR.
- Supports the coordination of material tracking and material receiving/reporting.
- Support effective communication, in collaboration with Project Coordinators and Project Managers, between the Guideway Construction team and Subcontractors and/or with other TGP departments.
- Provides administrative support, including maintaining internal project schedules, organizing project files, and assisting with reports, trackers and presentations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration and communication
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Eligible for a 8 month or 12 month co-op term.
- Current enrollment with an accredited post-secondary institution for Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technologist, Construction Management or equivalent program.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals and objections.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, strong communication skills and can adapt to rapid chnage and shifting priorities.
