You’ll help clients assess the tax implications of acquisitions and divestitures, guiding them through due diligence, structuring, and execution. This role offers hands‑on involvement in live deals and the chance to develop both technical depth and commercial awareness in a fast‑moving environment. Support and contribute to tax due diligence and transaction advisory engagements across buy‑side and sell‑side transactions Analyze acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate transactions to assess tax implications and structuring considerations Identify tax risks, exposures, and planning opportunities, and help translate findings into clear, practical insights Prepare tax research, technical analyses, and draft memoranda to support transaction recommendations Assist in developing tax‑efficient structuring and planning strategies aligned with client objectives A solid foundation in Canadian tax concepts, with an interest in transaction‑related tax matters Ability to identify key tax risks, opportunities, and implications within transactions with guidance as needed A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality, accurate work within tight timelines Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to project delivery in a deadline‑driven environment A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study A qualified credential or advanced degree such as CPA, MTax, CPA In‑depth Tax, LLB or LLM Relevant work experience Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or international tax is an asset You bring a genuine interest in tax and a curiosity about how it shapes complex transactions.
