Bachelor’s, or Master’s, degree in Electrical Engineering, with 15+ years of hardware design experience
Implementation history as a design lead of high layer count circuit packs and possess a familiarity of technology related to CPU’s, Networking devices, FPGA, timing devices, DDR, PCIe, FLASH memory.
Expertise in analog and digital circuit design and testing.
Experience in designing circuits for power conversion and sensitive low-noise circuitry
Experience in design validation with a focus on lab measurement techniques and test equipment. Ability to parse component datasheets and extract design and verification criteria.
Proven record of supporting and troubleshooting hardware issues both during development and within production environments.
Proficiency with Schematic Capture and Layout tools, such as Cadence Concept and Allegro, or equivalent EDA software.
Nice to Have Skills &
Experience Excellent communication, documentation, interpersonal and team-working skills
Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize,
collaborate and delegate as necessary to meet schedules and respect internal and external customer commitments.
Experience with Fiber Optics and Photonic component including SFPs, Photodiodes, APDs and Lasers.
Experience or interest in using simulation tools like TINA and LTSpice
